The Daily Photo – Thursday 17 August, 2023

Abandoned soles.

The plan for the week had been to post daily photos taken with my cell phone, but as I have been struck with a mild dose of the winter chills, I have decided to stay in the warm and not venture outside today.

So a quick trip to my photo archives was called for to find today’s daily photo.

I spotted these abandoned soles while waiting for fish and chips at Opo Takeaways, Opononi, earlier this year. They were yummy too…the fish and chips – not the shoes – although the shoes seemed to be in pretty good condition.

For the first time in a long time, I turned to On1 Photo Raw for the black-and-white conversion.
