Today we travelled from Christchurch to Greymouth and decided to treat ourselves to a world-famous-in-Canterbury Sheffield pie each for lunch.

But a few minutes prior to stopping at Sheffield, we stopped on the roadside near Waddington to soak up the glorious view featured in today’s main daily photo, which was taken looking towards the snow-covered Okuku Range.

It was shot with my Lumix G95 and 25mm (50mm f/f equivalent) lens.

The overall finish is a Fujichrome Velvia 100 simulation using Nik Color Efex Pro.
